1. Respect and personal safety
- No harassment, personal attacks, threats, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Do not expose private information, precise home or live locations, or images shared without consent.
- No calls for violence, dangerous challenges, or conduct creating a concrete safety risk.
- Respect blocks and contact boundaries set by other members.
2. Hate and discrimination
Content or behaviour that degrades, excludes, threatens, or incites hatred against people based on protected characteristics is prohibited, including racist, antisemitic, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and ableist attacks.
3. Child safety
- No sexual exploitation, grooming, sexualised depictions, or inappropriate contact with minors.
- Never request or distribute intimate images involving a minor.
- Suspected violations receive priority review and may be reported to competent authorities.
4. Sexual, violent, and self-harm content
- No non-consensual sexual content or intimate imagery.
- No glorification of severe violence or graphic cruelty without legitimate context.
- Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. Help-seeking and supportive discussion remain allowed.
5. Honesty and fair use
- No impersonation, scams, phishing, or spam.
- No false place, club, or activity information that endangers others or manipulates rankings.
- No malicious or coordinated false reporting.
- No unauthorised advertising, illegal goods, weapons, or drug sales.
6. Content, rights, and technology
- Share only content for which you have the necessary rights and consent.
- No copyright or trademark infringement.
- No scraping, automated bulk use, bypassing safeguards, or malware.
7. Club administrator duties
- Keep club information, rules, and dates accurate.
- Provide first-line moderation for conflicts and reports.
- Escalate repeated or severe violations to Sportive.
- Arrange a responsible successor when stepping down.
- Sportive retains final authority over platform enforcement.
8. Reports and context
Use the reporting feature for specific content or profiles. We consider content, context, intent, likely harm, and relevant prior violations. Abuse of reporting tools may itself lead to action. Illegal content can also be reported without an account through our DSA notice form.
9. Enforcement and appeal
Depending on severity and repetition, we may warn, remove content, restrict features, or suspend an account temporarily or permanently. Where lawful, we provide reasons. You may appeal to [email protected] within six months; a human will review the decision.
10. Emergencies
Sportive is not an emergency service. Call 112 if someone is in immediate danger and report crimes to the competent police authority.
